We have been a part of the Leather Working Group (LWG) since its establishment, which requires us to undergo comprehensive environmental audits on an ongoing 18-month cycle. Our ongoing commitment is to consistently pursue and adhere to the most rigorous environmental standards
Vegan Tannage:
Our Vegan Tannage places us at the forefront of sustainable leather production. This tannage method is not only chrome-free but also entirely metal-free. Additionally, the hides used are locally sourced in Egypt from grass-fed livestock, further emphasizing our commitment to sustainability.
In respect to our tannery operations in Egypt, we are unwavering in our commitment to adhering to some of the world’s strictest global regulations pertaining to the discharge of wastewater and electricity usage. Local water authorities consistently conduct inspections and closely monitor the wastewater treatment procedures at our tannery. It is important to emphasize that we hold our operations in high regard and diligently strive to provide the best possible service.
